Ultra-hardy trees and shrubs for landscapes North of Sixty
|
Welcome to the northernmost nursery and orchard in Canada! Located in the central Yukon, KVN is uniquely situated to explore the boundaries of what can be grown in cold climates at high latitudes. Sharing both the plants and the knowledge to support their growth is central to the mission. Customer feedback regarding the ongoing status of plant materials is encouraged to building our knowledge base. The nursery work is carried out by only one to three people in the growing season and much of that effort is on maintenance on the existing stock and landscape. So unfortunately that seriously impacts the number of new trees that are started for sale each year, so orders are often filled as stock becomes available. So patience is required. As ever, we are very grateful to live and share on the traditional lands of the Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in - mahsi cho.
